David,

Raise the Shadow resolution and bias to get rid of the aliased edged and blocky pattern.

#1: Get the camera in closer so we can appreciate the models more; the cones look a little too much like rabbit ears – resolve that! Interesting transparency and texture

#2: Interesting sculpture and great cast shadow! Just reposition slightly so the darker core center of the sculpture isn’t so dead center (maybe move to left and let the cast shadow fill the right); the base of the sculpture needs a little more substance on the bottom – it seems to be either passing through the ground plane or have a technical mistake. Consider adding a bit of color to the light for effect. (lighter image stonger)

#3: The lighting in this image makes it feel very flat – do you have a light casting shadows? Even the ball feels flat except for the texture; Consider simplifying the block pedestal below so it doesn’t compete with the flowing parts; good use of negative space; consider a contrasting color for the ground.

#4: Get in much closer to the sculpture here. Nice flowing form, but needs more variety in the surface, if not in the color; contrast the environment color also; too centered composition.

#5: Very flat lighting (too intense?); either change the scale of the texture (it makes the sculpture seem tiny because it is so large scaled on the object = shrink it down), or make it less contrasty – something that will help bring our attention to the shape and not be so distracted by the texture. Again, don’t place the sculpture dead center, move it to the left or right and let the cast shadow fill the negative space and give energy to the composition. Get in closer – we’re losing the delicate spiral; should the spiral be the same or have a different texture?
